Creating opportunities to apply knowledge
How can classroom knowledge connect with other subjects and life beyond school?
Building on knowledge consolidation, we explored opportunities to apply it. Topics included shared themes across subjects, teacher collaboration and students’ experiences of part-time work, travel or saving. Examples ranged from competitions, fairs and expeditions to older students teaching younger ones. Participants also suggested testing cross-subject collaboration with a small group of colleagues first.
